September 11, 2021 - Another busy morning/afternoon at Save An Angel's Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. Spay and neutering is the most proactive way to address pet overpopulation and we are so grateful for our friends here doing amazing work across our community. As is experienced across many industries, staffing has been very difficult during the pandemic. They could always use more volunteers and paid staff (vet tech and vet surgical techs). If you are called to be part of the solution, please consider joining us one day!
July 22, 2021 - Early morning drop off of 12 community cats for Bastrop CATS. Our friends at Save An Angel help facilitate spay & neuter surgery days with the use of their transit van. Great group effort that will have a huge impact across our communities.
July 12, 2021 - Our team was productive today volunteering with the Scrub Squad for Save An Angels Spay & Neuter Clinic. Lots of dogs and cats will have an easier life now thanks to SAA and hundreds of lives saved.
June 19, 2021 - We were happy to Support our friends at Save An Angel by volunteering at their low cost Spay And Neuter Clinic.
June 10, 2021 - We partnered with Save an Angel and Bastrop CATS to assist with transporting 6 community cats to and from Austin Humane Society for their surgical appointments.
May 21, 2021 - We partnered with Save an Angel and Bastrop CATS to assist with transporting 9 community cats to and from Austin Humane Society for their surgical appointments.
May 15, 2021 - We were happy to Support our friends at Save An Angel by volunteering at their low cost Spay And Neuter Clinic.
October 18, 2020 - What started out as a regular operation at Save An Angel's Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic, turned into an all hands effort to save this precious pup from a severe case of pyometra that went septic. Her family couldn't afford the extensive medical care needed but SAA knew they couldn't stop every effort possible. We knew how loved Diamond is and were grateful to start a fundraiser off with $100, as always our supporters stepped up and DARN was able to donate $425 towards her medical bills. Today, she continues to thrive and be an intricate part of her loving family.
June 27, 2020 - We were happy to be invited to attend Save An Angel's Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic's Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce. A great day celebrating such a great asset to the community and a proactive approach to helping to save more lives and control the number of unwanted dogs and cats in our community.
December 14, 2019 - We volunteered with our friends at Save An Angel at their first Bastrop County Spay & Neuter Clinic. The community response has been amazing and we were able to help get 19 dogs and cats done. Working along side many of our fiercest animal advocates makes for an exhausting but heartwarming day!
